MOTION AND STILLS, WORKING WITH EQUIPMENT CONSTRAINTS
In 2020 during lockdown we were fortunate to be in Bali.
Zara who is a regular client of Vincent as a model, reached out to know if it was possible for us to document our experience as part of their « In Front Of » campaign, on both photo and video format.
Having no equipment at hand, we had to do with what we had. We suggested a film along the lines of a personal journal, so the technical flaws could become a part of the style and not an obvious limitation.
With a throwaway camera, a DSLR and our iPhone 8 mike, we were light enough to hit the road with a motorbike and give a little glimpse of our experience on the island.
People in Bali loved that film and in times like those, it meant everything to us.
